Once upon a time... ;) A girl named Emma volunteered herself to make a garland for her family's Christmas tree and, thinking herself a genius, decided that putting pine cones on the garland would make it ever so much awesome-er. So, that's what she did. Little did she know that such an awesome idea would cost so much. In the process of trying to thread the string through the pine cone, in all clumsiness, her hand slipped while pulling on the needle and....well, I don't need to get too detailed. Let's just say that she has a big cut on the side of her thumb.
The End.
Yes, guys. This is a true story. I didn't know at the time that awesome ideas can sometimes turn out to be painful ideas. :P But, hey! It still turned out epic.
Moral of the story: Don't EVER think that just because you came up with a good idea it won't hurt later. ;D ALSO, make sure your dad kindly offers to drill holes through the the pine cones BEFORE YOU SLICE OPEN THE SIDE OF YOUR FINGER. Might be a good idea.
Some awesome things I did this month:
1. I finished all of my Christmas shopping (yays!)
2. I made a Christmas garland that turned out super cute
3. My mom and I got the whole house decorated! I'm super happy cuz it feels like Christmas and it's super cozy in the house. :)
4. I took a lotta cool pics and edited them
5. I played piano for two nursing homes
6. I mixed up cut-out cookie dough at 11:00 pm.
7. I am currently working on a song with my church's choir for Christmas and it's going well so far. ;)
Not very awesome things I did this month:
1. I kinda sliced my finger
2. I cleaned
3. I cleaned some more
4. And....I think I did some more cleaning.
5. After that, I think I tried to stay caught up with my school. WHICH IS LIKE NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE.
6. I spent an awesome afternoon with my real sister-in-law, and my two "fake" sisters-in law. It was very fun until we started watching Roger and Hammerstein's Cinderella. Please do yourself a big favor and NEVER WATCH THAT MOVIE. EVER. We died because of that movie's ridiculousness. It was terrible. We actually quit half-way, deciding that watching "Hercules" (for the first time) might be better - thinking anything else would be a better choice than our first one. Apparently, we were wrong. In my opinion, it was just as bad as our first movie choice. lol Mann....that afternoon we were WAY too crazy. And weird. Also, my fake sister in law, Hannah, is now my arch enemy. Because of the video that she won't delete. That kinda sums up our craziness for that afternoon (and I will be a nice fake sister and not even mention the brownies we tried to make that turned out to be kinda like the consistency of chocolate syrup.). :D
Then, like every year around Christmas, My family had to go crazy on cut-out cookies. It's not even because they taste like the best cookie in the world, it's just that they're way too fun to make/decorate. I love decorating cut-outs. :)

| Sorry for the bad quality pics (the two above), it wasn't very good lighting. And it was just a cheesy phone cam. :/ |

Those (above) my friends, are what I call AWESOMENESS. :) If you can't tell from the pictures, They're basically a really cool DIY that a 2-year-old could do. Well, maybe add a "0" after the "2". They are actually kinda tricky to make. BUT... Once you get the hang of wrapping the string around the balloon, you will be a pro at making these. :) The colorful-ness is the balloon part, and wrapped around the balloons is the string. The string is soaked with glue-spray-stuff that the balloons were soaked with, also. After you wrap the string around you spray the glue on it one more time, and then sprinkle the dry glitter. Once the string has completely dried you pop the balloons inside (with a NEEDLE?! ;P).
And whala! You have a cool looking ornament, or decoration, for whatever you feel like using it for. :)
They don't look that cool in the pics because you can't see the glitter that well, and they aren't sprayed with the final glitter spray yet.
