I had the pie, my leftover pudding, and my purse....I was good to go.
We got there, and I was so exited to see my "long lost cousins", and A&U's. and then while the "Big People" were on the main floor, the, "Little People" were down in the basement....  and it will forever be a secret to us, as to what they were exactly doing down there, but we got to watch a play. It was about a "Rich Woman"  (Miranda) and two "Homeless Beggar Children", (Liam and Rosie) complete with costumes and all! :D

Then, We had dessert, (after lunch of course) a little to much dessert, I think!! We literately had an OVERFLOWING amount of dessert...It was bad!! :D Well, a good sort of bad. ;)

Anyway, I really enjoyed Thanksgiving this year, it was fun!!

It was the day before Thanksgiving. I had recently watched home videos of a previous Thanksgiving and was remembering the lovely leaf cookies we had made. I remembered how easy it had been.
I pulled out a five year old magazine and quickly found the recipe. I was right. Making the dough wasn't hard.
Then I realized to get the beautiful fall colors, I had to dye the dough. When I was done, I had three disgusting-looking bags of dyed dough. (Really, the yellow looked like mustard.)

Instead of following the instructions to roll the three balls into one ball to cut them out, I squished the colors together, which made the cookies look like puzzle pieces when they were finished.
Fortunately, the cookies turned out amazingly and tasted great, even though the appearance was a little questionable.
Yes, a terrible picture, I know...

                                          FOR SALE
A beautiful gingerbread house for the lowest price possible!! Although a one-room home, it comes with a nice snowman blocking the door and large purple stepping stones leading to the house! Perfect for anyone who would like a collapsible house. (Warning, the door siding may fall off)

My little sister really wanted to make a gingerbread house, so I kindly agreed. To bad she abandoned me after it fell apart.
Needless to say, I quit soon after I had thrown on some decorations. The door decor kept sliding off because of the very thin icing.
It was really much worse than my leaf cookies.
    Until next time!
