--the drama of crafting--
12:06 PMI looked at the pile of craft supplies and took a deep breath.
"This time," I said, "this time it will be easy."
I mean, we have a billion Valentine's Day themed craft supplies...how hard could making four or five valentines be?
Well. It shouldn't be hard.
And at first, it wasn't.
I had multiple ideas running through my head all at once. I eagerly started.
But then my idea failed. And then the next failed. And the next.
Soon there was just a pile of crumpled up papers in front of me.
I groaned. My five year old sister's valentines were better than mine (mine consisting of about three half-finished cards).
Finally, after more than an hour, I had completed two tiny valentines. Which, I suppose, were fine.
But. I think I'm done crafting for a while.
Oh yes, I know. My life is so hard.

Yes, you're life is so hard!
ReplyDelete(but just imagine the "hardship" I had cleaning it all up!!!! I found some of your half-finished cards, btw...)
Silly goose, they turned out fine. ;)
Haha!!!! I think that's how I feel all the time when I have to pick up my sisters' messes. :/
DeleteWow!!! Either way, even thought you apparently had a hard time, the cards are WAY better than mine!!!! (So are Caroline's) ;P
ReplyDeleteThose are ADORABLE, Sarah! But ohmygoodness, I HATE Valentine's card making. It's the worst. It's basically like demonstrating to yourself and the whole world, "Oh, hi, I can't think of anything or cut straight with scissors." Embarrassing.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE THOSE SARAH!!!!
